The 2007 "myfoxphilly's HOT LIST" kicks off July 23rd with a "best of" contest inviting visitors to choose Philadelphia's best local businesses. During the "myfoxphilly's HOT LIST" competition, people can log on to www.myfoxphilly.com to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses and share photos and reviews. In addition, every voter can enter to win a large screen plasma television. The contest runs July 23rd to September 14th. Winners will be announced and posted the week of September 24, 2007.

"myfoxphilly's HOT LIST" offers local businesses a free online presence and easy-to-use tools to manage their listings, saving them time and money and connecting them with online customers. After the contest, the guide is available all year and offers reviews and photos posted by customers, enhancing the value of a local business listing-both for the business and for those searching for detailed local information.

"FOX 29 is very excited to present to the greater Philadelphia area an innovative on-line vehicle where viewers can vote for their favorite establishment in many different retail categories," said Mike Renda, FOX 29 VP/General Manager. "Philly is a big city of small neighborhoods and residents are very proud of their local communities. Winners will receive recognition on www.myfoxphilly.com and FOX 29's 'Good Day Philadelphia'."
